Hal Novick has been in the private practice of all phases of intellectual property law starting in 1972. He has extensive experience in the electrical and mechanical arts in the preparation, and prosecution of patent applications and in the preparation and prosecution of reexamination proceedings.
Mr. Novick has a BA degree in Physics and a master’s equivalence in Nuclear Engineering from the U.S. Navy, where he was an officer for six years and served aboard nuclear submarines. He has written and lectured widely about IP matters all over the world and is a popular speaker. In addition, he is a present adjunct professor of IP law at Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island, and a past adjunct professor of IP law at Handong International Law School, an American style law school in Korea.
Mr. Novick’s experience in all facets of IP law has made him a valuable consultant and advisor to businesses and other lawyers all over the world.
