Dr. Wan Sik You is a technology specialist for the Firm.  He is a Korean Patent Attorney, Certified Technology Transfer Agent, and Certified Technology Consultant. He has a Ph.D. and M.A. in Electrical Engineering, and a M.A. in Patent Law. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from Inha University in Korea.

Before Dr. You joined our Firm, he studied technology transfer and commercialization, and patent management for three years as a visiting scholar at the Cornell Center for Technology Enterprise and Commercialization at Cornell University.  While studying at Cornell University, he wrote a book entitled, “Technology Transfer of Cornell University,” and made a special presentation as a panelist in IPLS 2010 held in Japan.

Dr. You was a Patent Management Advisor and professor at Inha University, during which time he lectured on Patent Law to researchers and graduate students, interviewed inventors on patents, and established a patent management system for the university. He also worked as a Patent Attorney at 5T International Patent Law Firm in Korea for five years. Dr. You was also a patent examiner at the Korean Intellectual Property Office.
